The 28-year-old actress hit the town in West Hollywood as a single girl last night following the news that their two year relationship was over.
A vision in white, Kate emerged from the Château Marmont all smiles with a male and older female companion.

She paired the look with dark tan accessories, including a pair of strappy sandals, a belt and toted a snakeskin satchel.
The fancy-free actress wore barely any make-up and had her blonde hair tied back in a bun.
Kate also had slipped on a gold band on her wedding finger, perhaps in an attempt to ward off other singletons.
Despite the news of her break-up with the True Blood hunk, Kate appeared in good spirit as she left the posh establishment, later speeding away in the backseat of a car with her two friends.
